Dublin Popov is
an experienced life coach and therapist who
maintains a private practice in Denver. She
specializes in serving clients when they are in
a life transition or seeking to improve some
aspect of their lives. She is dedicated to
working with parents and children, helping
clients to resolve parenting issues and is
enthused about the collaborative family law
approach in dissolution of marriage because it
focuses on the immediate and long-term
well-being and stability of both parents and
children. It safeguards family relationships
through a process that calls for integrity,
openness, respect and cooperation.
Dublin graduated from the
University of California at Berkeley and served
in the Peace Corps in Tunisia. She subsequently
obtained a master’s degree from the University
of British Columbia prior to a establishing a
ten-year consulting career working with
executives in high technology in Silicon Valley.
During this period, Dublin spent five years as a
research analyst at SRI International in Menlo
Park, CA. .
Additionally, she provided
consultation in program development to the
Global Fund for Women, a foundation supporting
female human rights groups worldwide.
In 1990 Dublin returned to
school to earn the MSW degree in clinical social
work at Smith College in Northampton, MA, after
which she served as a primary clinician at The
Institute of Living, a psychiatric hospital in
Hartford, CT.
Before moving to Denver four
years ago, Dublin was a member of the National
Health Service Corps and was hired to develop
and coordinate a therapeutic foster care program
for western Nebraska. She recruited, trained and
supervised foster family parents and provided
therapy to clients of all ages.
Previous professional and
volunteer experience have included: Board member
of the Scottsbluff/Terrytown/Gering Community
Development Coalition, Scottsbluff, NE; Vice
President of Marketing and board member of the
Planning Forum of Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, CA;
Board president, Academy of Music and Drama,
East Palo Alto, CA; Board member, Stanford
University YWCA, Stanford, CA.
