Steve McBride
became a Certified Divorce Financial
Analyst in 2003. Diligent and caring, he
has a unique blend of logic, skill,
compassion, calm and humor to help his
clients work through the financial
issues and implications of their
divorce. He helps his clients gather and
analyze all the financial data and then
works with them to produce budgets and
creative tax efficient financial options
and solutions that help reduce the
inevitable stress that accompanies
separation and divorce. He is passionate
about helping his clients understand the
financial implications of divorce and to
prepare financially for their future
lives. Steve's
earlier career was in management
consulting helping
businesses, public sector organizations
and not-for-profits improve performance
through better leadership, people
development, and planning. Having become
a consulting partner of an international
accounting firm at a relatively young
age, Steve went on to lead niche
management consulting firms specializing
in management and organization
development, and family businesses
issues. Since moving back to Denver
after 18 years in England, Steve worked in venture capital in addition to
continuing his work helping improve
performance of small to medium sized
businesses.
Steve holds a BS from
Nebraska Wesleyan University and an
advanced degree in public and
international affairs with an emphasis
on economic development, econometrics &
public policy analysis from the
University of Pittsburgh. He has been a
Fellow of the Institute of Management
Consultants and accredited with the
Institute for Personnel and Development.
In addition to being accredited by the
Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts,
he is a
professional member
of Colorado Counsel of Mediators, a
member of the International Academy of
Collaborative Professionals, a member of
the National Association of Accredited
Business Valuers, a Patron of
the Colorado Bar Association and its
family law section, and is a
Board Member of Colorado Collaborative
Law Professionals.
Steve merged his
practice into the litigation and
valuation services group of CBIZ
Accounting Tax and Advisory Services LLC
in 2007, with offices in Denver and
Boulder. |
