Peggy Walker has practiced family law in Colorado and Kansas since 1977. Her practice includes domestic relations law, collaborative law, and mediation. She has also taught at Colorado State University from 1979 to 1986 and in the Student Law Office at the University of Denver for 15 years beginning in 1988. She has always taken her role as an educator seriously, and enjoys educating her clients about the impact the law will have on their specific issues. She works hard to help clients understand the legal implications associated with their choices, and provide them with the information they need to make the best decisions for themselves and their families.
Collaborative Law provides her the opportunity to use her social work training and help her clients reach a deeper resolution of the dissolution issues. A deeper resolution helps her clients be better people, better parents and feel good about the way they have ended the relationship. This sets the stage for them to enter a new life with a positive outlook. The children can more easily stay out of the middle of the divorce and allow them to move forward with less conflict.
